Pongsupan Kanthiman won the Chang-TAT Thailand AM Tour at the Lotus Valley Golf Resort in Chachoengsao at the weekend.

The Chiang Mai-born player defeaed Worapol Num-er two up in the final of the matchplay competition, presented by Golf Channel Thailand.

The year-long tournament, which started late last year, brought 64 winners from four regions to compete in the five-day final competition at the Lotus Valley Golf Resort.

After a strokeplay event on the first day, the competition continued with a matchplay format until the last day.

In the third-place play-off, Techin Siriboonya edged Pitipatara Pitimana.
