The Blue Bird Group aims to collaborate with local partners in Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore from 2014, according to a report in the Jakarta Post.
The company has received an invitation from the Philippine government to study the taxi market in that country, said vice president for business development, Noni Purnomo, who added that Blue Bird would study the different cultures of each country before entering any new markets.
The company is also considering the possibility of expanding into the United Arab Emirates.
Blue Bird operates approximately 25,000 taxis in Indonesia, 15,000 of them in the capital, Jakarta.
