Biker, 14, attacks rivals, 1 dead (video)

NAKHON RATCHASIMA - A 14-year-old boy was arrested by police on Wednesday for assaulting two other young people on a motorcycle, causing the death of one of them and injuring the other.

Police said the incident in Nakhon Ratchasima's Muang district on Sunday night was caught by a closed-circuit television camera.

The young teen, whose name was withheld because he is a minor, told police that he was riding his motorcycle with his 14-year-old girlfriend, who is five months pregnant, after having dinner at a restaurant.

While returning home, he spotted two boys from a rival gang riding another motorcycle. He decided to follow them and later kicked their motorcycle, the 14-year-old confessed.

The two boys, both 15, fell from the motorbike. One boy died when his head smashed into the pavement while the other was injured.

Police said the 14-year-old assailtant was charged with assault causing death and had been sent to the Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
