Unveiled in Los Angeles ahead of the LA Auto Show, the vehicle seems at home in the City of Angels.
"For me, wings mean freedom, a sense of weightlessness. Because of this, I definitely wanted to have them for the smart electric drive in order to convey the way it frees the environment of noxious emissions and symbolises the new lightness of mobility," explains Scott.
The limited edition, named "smart forjeremy," boasts a surpringly white dashboard and its interior hints more at an airplane cockpit than a classic city car.
The smart forjeremy is propelled with a 75hp electric engine that can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in 4.8s and with a top speed of 125km/h. Its range in an urban environment hovers around 145km, with no CO2 emissions whatsoever.
The smart forjeremy will launch in 2013 across Europe and the US.
