Learn to cook delicious Thai food in the kitchen of our award-winning Thai restaurant, basil. We provide one-on-one tuition with Chef Kasinee Wanta, who will share the secrets that will enable you to create restaurant quality Thai cuisine in your own home.
Aspiring Thai chefs can learn to cook a fabulous four course meal, choosing dishes from 14 appetizers, soups, mains, and desserts. Dishes include classics such as the delicious appetizers moo sateh, pork satay, and tod man pla, Thai fish cakes, som tam goong yang, green papaya salad with grilled prawns, and yam wun sen, a deliciously spicy mung bean noodle salad. Other options include tom yam gung, hot and sour prawn soup, gaeng kiew waan neua, beef green curry, and phad Thai, the renowned Thai-style noodles dish, and many more.
There are also heavenly desserts to complete the authentic cooking and dining experience, such as kluay buat chee, bananas in coconut milk, and tab tim krob, mock pomegranate seeds in coconut ice syrup.

Decorated in contemporary Thai style, an interesting feature of the restaurant is a large communal table just inside the main entrance where guests can sit and enjoy a quick plate of noodles or a light one-dish meal.
