Channing Tatum was actually named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2012... we don't know why
Why did residents of a community in Kanchanaburi protest against a local high school last week?
A)Because the school's curriculum includes taboo subjects like sex ed and evolution.
B)Because the school's dismal glee club is bringing shame to the community.
C)Because the school's cafeteria food uses the finest rice-field rats Kanchanaburi has to offer.
D)Because the school's current director apparently believes that good people cannot survive in today's society, and allows the students to do whatever they want. The allegations were raised by Pasit Chawala, a village chief in Dan Makham Tia district in Kanchanaburi, who says that the villagers are fed up of the trouble caused by the school's non-existent rules. Chawala says that about 500 male and female students are wreaking havoc on the community, doing things like stealing from people's homes and drinking alcohol. The protesting villagers plan to file a complaint with the Education Ministry, or even try to get the school relocated from the area, according to the Bangkok Post.
How is the Swiss city of Zurich attempting to curb street prostitution?
A)By waging a war on prostitutes.
B)By unleashing cockroaches on the prosties to scare them away.
C)By moving them all to Bangkok.
D)By opening "drive-in sex boxes". A Zurich council approved a plan to build a row of garage-like boxes with roofs and walls, where clients can easily drive up and do their kinky business in private. Besides moving prostitutes away from the public sphere, the plan also requires them to take out medical insurance, obtain a licence, and "clock in" to use the sex boxes.
Who is the "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2012?
A)Brad Pitt... then, now, and forever.
B)Ryan Gosling... must wipe drool now.
C)Justin Bieber... if he can be considered a "man" yet.
D)Kim Jong-un... well, that's according to an article in US satirical website The Onion, which mistakenly got picked up by the online version of China's Communist Party newspaper. Unaware of the joke, the People's Daily ran a 55-page photo spread on its website last week with the headline, "North Korea's top leader named The Onion's Sexiest Man Alive for 2012." Quoting The Onion's spoof report, the Chinese newspaper wrote: "With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heart-throb is every woman's dream come true." The People's Daily article has since been removed.
