No word if the beers will lose their head quickly... har, har...
What new rule has McDonald's in Thailand recently imposed?
A)The right to refuse to serve obese customers.
B)Only allowing kids that aren't brats to have Happy Meals.
C)A ban on eating French fries with Maggi sauce.
D)Enforcing a one-hour time limit for customers. McThai, the company that operates the McDonald's chain in Thailand, announced a new policy asking patrons not to loiter in the restaurant for more than an hour during peak times due to lack of seating. The rule is aimed at the many people who use McDonald's as a meeting place, for tutoring sessions, and all the lazy folks who go there to nap in the free air-conditioning. Obviously the company also requests that customers buy something when they're loafing around or they should get the McHell out of there.
Why did an Australian woman file a case for compensation against her employer?
A)Because interacting with her co-workers caused her IQ to drop.
B)Because too many hours in front of the computer impaired her vision.
C)Because the office's fluorescent lights made her look ugly.
D)Because she was hurt while having sex on an overnight business trip. The civil servant - whose name has been withheld for legal reasons - was hurt when a glass light fitting above the bed fell on her face during a romp with a male friend. She suffered injuries on her nose and mouth, and filed a compensation claim against her employer. The incident took place in 2007, but the Australian Federal Court recently ruled in favour of the woman, stating that she was essentially still at "work" when the incident took place and that her employer was responsible for her during the entire trip.
GAME OF THRONES
How can fans of HBO's fantasy drama Game of Thrones enjoy the show even more when the third season premieres on Mar 31?
A)By reminding their stingy friends that a Lannister always pays his debts.
B)By finally having an excuse to say "Winter is coming" even though it'll be spring.
C)By looking forward to Daenerys's dragons battling with the White Walkers.
D)By enjoying the premiere with a Game of Thrones-inspired beer. HBO is teaming up with Brewery Ommegang, a Belgian-style brewery in Cooperstown, New York, to create ales based on the fantasy series. The first beer, "Iron Throne Blonde Ale", will be released in conjunction with the Season 3 premiere. A second beer will be launched in the fall, followed by two more themed-ales to be released with subsequent seasons.
