KALASIN – A man has admitted shooting his friend dead and wounding the victim’s younger brother after they made fun of him and slapped him about the head several times, police said on Tuesday.
Police arrested Krenkamol Chaweewong, 27, for shooting Kiat Phasdor, 28, and Tortrakul Phasdor, 26 at their home on Jan 5.
Kiat was killed and his younger brother Tortrakul remains in critical condition.
The suspect admitted to shooting the two men. He told police that the victims went too far when they slapped him and disrespected him in front of his girlfriend several times during a dinner party.
He said he begged them to stop but they continued to make fun of him. After drinking for a while he could not take it anymore so he went back to his truck, took out his gun and fired several shots at the brothers.
The suspect said he regretted his actions.
