Run to save a life

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is organising the 6th Cancer Care charity fun run to raise funds for Chulalongkorn Hospital's Hematological Cancer Research Centre.

Scheduled for Feb 23 starting at 8.05am at Lumpini Park on Rama IV Road, the race promises to be a fun and enjoyable Saturday outing for families, joggers and health enthusiasts of all ages.

Both the 5km and 10km routes are perfect for running and walking. Families with young children as well as the elderly are welcome to participate.

Activities are also lined up for all kids at the run with prizes awaiting them.

To add to the fun and excitement, a Queen's trophy will be awarded to the largest group. Prizes also await participants of the 5km and 10km runs who reach the finish line.

For the past 19 years, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok has held a charity run to raise funds for cancer research in conjunction with its sister properties in Chiang Mai and Samui.

Last year's event attracted about 3,000 runners and raised 3.7 million baht for the Hematological Cancer Research Centre. Everyone is invited to participate in the run with a minimum donation of 350 baht inclusive of a T-shirt or 500 baht inclusive of a polo shirt.

Prizes on offer include accommodation vouchers at Four Seasons hotels and resorts, and much more.
