The Pediatrics Department of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital is accepting applications for the "2013 Healthy Children Contest".
Applications for the ‘2013 Healthy Children Contest’ can be made at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital from Monday until Jan 18.
Held to promote the importance of raising children properly and encourage parents and guardians to nurture children physically and psychologically, the contest has two categories _ one year to two-and-a-half years, and two-and-a-half years to five years.
The judging panel will comprise experts in various fields including a paediatrician, a dentist, a psychiatrist, a psychologist and a nurse. Each contestant will be judged based on their growth, vaccination, height and weight, general health, and teeth and skin, with an emphasis on their physical and emotional health.
Also included in the scores given is the ability to express himself/herself in public and mix socially.
The winner will receive a trophy from HRH Princess Soamsawali at the annual Red Cross Fair which will take place at Suan Amporn Garden between March 29 and April 6.
Interested parents are required to submit the application forms along with the kids' birth certificates and vaccination records on the ground floor of Sor Kor Building between Monday and Jan 18. Application forms cost 100 baht each from the public relations department on the ground floor of Phor Por Ror Building daily from 8am to 3pm until Jan 18.
