Those heading to Luang Prabang, the beautiful World Heritage site in Laos, might want to drop by Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang to view the photography exhibition entitled "My Luang Prabang" by Vatthana Siamkha, one of Laos' leading young lensmen.

The images captured by the Luang Prabang-born photographer are highly regarded in Laos and beyond. Last year he won the first prize in the inaugural "My Life" photo contest at Project Space Luang Prabang. Vatthana's work captures unusual and magical moments of life shot in and around this famously photogenic town.

This premiere exhibition is the latest in a series of photography-based initiatives for guests and the local community created by the hotel, which last year hosted the Jack Picone and Stephen Dupont documentary photography workshop.
