Educate yourself about Indian schooling

The largest fair dedicated to studying in India is back for the sixth consecutive year at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre on Feb 2 and 3.

The ‘Great India Education Fair 2013’ will showcase opportunities for Thai students at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre on Feb 2 and 3.

The "Great India Education Fair 2013" is an opportunity for interested students and their parents to meet representatives of India's finest boarding schools, universities, colleges and English learning centres, all under one roof.

Representatives and admission authorities from these institutions will be on hand to answer queries and offer guidance on accommodation, applications and admission procedures.

The event will also cater to parents of children aged between eight and 18 years searching for a good boarding school for their child, as well as college and university students.

It will highlight the strengths of the Indian education system, such as the emphasis Indian schools and colleges place on English and on information technology, their globally recognised qualifications, their multicultural learning environments and the reasonable cost of their programmes.

Residential schools from across the Indian subcontinent offering primary, middle and higher secondary level education will participate at the fair. They will offer the ICSE and CBSE Indian board curriculums, as well as international curriculums such as the International Baccalaureate and the IGCSE Cambridge International Examinations (UK) A and O level curriculums.

Many participating English learning centres will also offer short-term and long-term English learning programmes.

At the activity zone, visitors can also participate in a quiz and games, and enjoy Bollywood dance performances.

Admission to the fair is free of charge. For more information, email info@afairs.com or visit www.afairs.com.
