Four Thais will play at next month's Honda LPGA Thailand in Pattaya, organisers said yesterday.
The Feb 21-24 tournament at Siam Country Club's Old Course is for the top 60 players on last year's money list plus 10 sponsors' invites.
The Thai quartet are Pornanong Phatlum, Numa Gulyanamitta and sisters Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn. Pornanong is eligible for the Honda event as No.57 on the money list, while the other three are among 10 sponsors' invites.
Pornanong, Numa and Moriya will play on the LPGA Tour this year, while Ariya is a member of the Ladies European Tour after her win at the qualifying school.
Moriya, 18, has played in the Honda tournament twice, and Ariya, 17, three times. Their best results came in 2011 when Moriya was tied 38th and Ariya joint eighth.
Moriya, who finished tied 44th in Pattaya last year, said she would still be nervous to play in the star-studded event as it will be the first time she plays there as a pro.
World No.1 Yani Tseng of Taiwan will defend her title in the US$1.5 million event with other participants including last year's runner-up Ai Miyazato, world No. 2 Na Yeon Choi, Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Suzann Pettersen.
Michelle Wie, who is 64th on the money list, is among 10 sponsors' invites, according to the organisers.
