Neverending gifts of Love

For this coming Valentine's Day, what better way to give the person who already has your heart the next most precious thing: a timepiece that keeps track of every magic moment in your lives together and reminds that special someone of you with each glance at the watch.

Omega Ladymatic.

ELEGANT AND STYLISH

Leading Swiss watchmaker Omega proposes two selected, precious timepieces as ideal gifts for the love of your life _ the Omega Ladymatic for her and the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT for him.

The elegant Omega Ladymatic comes in a stainless steel case with matching bracelet and features 11 diamond hour markers and a date window on its shaded grey dial. The bezel is paved with snow-set diamonds. What is inside the watch case is as impressive: this Ladymatic is powered by Omega's exclusive Co-Axial calibre 8520 equipped with a silicon balance spring and delivered with a four-year warranty.

The stylish Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT has a 43mm 18k red gold case and matching bracelet. Its central GMT hand allows the watch to be set for two time zones _ ideal for frequent travellers. The grey dial features the Teak Concept vertical lines that characterise the watches in the Aqua Terra collection. There is a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Visible through the transparent caseback is the Co-Axial calibre 8615 that powers the timepiece, which also has a four-year warranty.

Omega Ladymatic (499,000 baht) and Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT (1,068,000 baht) can be viewed at Omega's flagship boutique on M floor of Siam Paragon.

ROMANTIC INTERPRETATION

The luxury House of Harry Winston has come up with two Harry Winston Midnight Moon Phase timepieces as your perfect gifts for the Valentine occasion.

As part of the Harry Winston Midnight Collection, these two timepieces offer a romantic interpretation of the moon phase complication. Via an arc-shaped crescent-moon aperture that stretches from 9 to 12 o'clock, the Moon and stars dazzle from behind the branches of trees that are engraved and finished in contrasting lacquers on the dial.

Offered in either 18k rose gold or 18k white gold, these two timepieces display a contrasting dial and tree motif. The 18k rose gold version features a rose champagne dial with a sunray satin-brushed finish. The engraved tree is delicately filled with rose hued lacquer. The 18k white gold model features a silver dial with a sunray satin-brushed finish; the engraved tree is lacquered in an almost pearl-white hue.

Both distinctive dials are set with indexes from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock that emulate the stars in the sky (brilliant-cut diamond indexes are set at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, and round pearls of 18k gold form the 4, 5, 7, and 8 o'clock indexes). From 10 to 2 o'clock, long, tapered indexes represent sunrays. A small round aperture above 6 o'clock discreetly displays the date.

Harry Winston adorned the 39mm case of the Midnight Moon Phase with 91 brilliant-cut diamonds. At 3 o'clock, three larger diamonds represent the iconic Harry Winston arches evoking the famous facade of the flagship Harry Winston salon in New York. Both are water resistant up to 30m.

The Harry Winston Midnight Moon Phase timepieces can be viewed at PMT The Hour Glass at M floor of Siam Paragon and 2nd floor of Gaysorn shopping centre. Approximate price is 1,253,000 baht.
