Where dreams and demons meet, in a realm where true thoughts and desires are hidden, is where Pom Jitpratuk finds his art.This wispy, contorted world is brought to life in "Ballad of the Black Cloud", Pom's latest solo exhibition.
Ballad of the Black Cloud will be on show at Koi Art Gallery from Friday to Feb 28. The gallery is located on Sukhumvit Soi 31 (Soi Sawaddee) and opens daily from11amto 7pm. Call 02-662-3218.

Pom, who holds a degree in graphic design from the UK's renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, uses lines and colours to reveal the inner selves of human beings.
These selves are normally kept deep inside because of social or cultural restrictions.
The demons might appear when we are weak, absent-minded or dreaming. The people depicted stem from the artist's imagination and reflect the personalities and behaviours that differ from those that conform to expectations.
Pom created these works to ask the public to accept people the way they are, so they can be themselves without fear of being outcasts.
