His Majesty the King's schedule to preside over the official unveiling of a King Chulalongkorn statue and the opening ceremony of the Sayamindradhiraj Medical Institute at Siriraj Hospital on Friday has been postponed indefinitely, the hospital announced on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Royal Household Bureau said His Majesty had been advised to suspend royal activities for a while after he was diagnosed with a slight fever and experienced fatigue.
On Friday, Siriraj planned to present a performance by a famed monkey troupe for His Majesty after the opening ceremony for the Sayamindradhiraj Medical Institute.
