As the GameStick's fundraising drive enters its final hours (closing date: Friday, February 1), designer PlayJam reveals a new look and prepares for the final push towards its highest stretch goal of $560,000.

Like its Kickstarter sibling, the Ouya, the $79 GameStick is designed to bring small form factor gaming to TV screens: it's a tidy game controller that runs Android titles and connects to TVs wirelessly via a USB dongle.

The controller's final design uses rubberized material and rounded edges for greater grip and comfort, while other adjustments ensure better cooling for its internals and new button configuration to make it easier for developers to bring their games over from other platforms.
