Meet the Unknown Hipster

This is so hipster you probably wouldn't have heard of it.

Jean Philippe Delhomme, a French artist and illustrator, will be in Bangkok this week for the opening of his exhibition "The Unknown Hipster" at Sansiri Lounge on the 3rd floor of Siam Paragon.

Delhomme is an award-winning illustrator based in Paris and New York. He has produced classic advertising campaigns for Barneys New York, the Bon Marche in Paris, Saab, and the Mark Hotel. His illustrations and writings appear regularly in GCasa (Italy), and GQ France and America), where he illustrates Glenn O'Brien's popular column, Style Guy.

He is also the author of The Cultivated Life (Rizzoli, 2009) and three novels. Apart from his art, Delhomme is famous for his fashion illustration and editorial skills and is renowned for "The Unknown Hipster" blog in which he shares exquisite experiences of lifestyle, fashion, and culture. His signature illustrations can be seen on the blog.

In Thailand, Delhomme has created an advertising campaign for property developer Sansiri, "Life Comes Home". To mark the occasion, Delhomme has also put on show 24 illustrations from his popular pocket book, The Unknown Hipster Diaries, at Sansiri Lounge on the 3rd floor of Siam Paragon.

The book is published in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, each numbered. Delhomme will also be at Sansiri Lounge on Friday from 2pm to 4.30pm for the opening and for the book signing.
