For fans of "Skyrim," one of the sprawling, exploratory title's biggest problems is that there aren't many other games like it.

So where do you go when you want more "Skyrim"? The answer lies within its latest add-on, "Dragonborn," which delivers in spades -- though riding a dragon isn't perhaps all it should be, there's enough pedestrian adventure to satisfy, hence the expansion's current stability at the peak of Steam's rundown.

Elsewhere, "Aliens: Colonial Marines" might already be subject to poor pre-release hype among game fans, but that hasn't stopped it from reaching fifth on Steam and first on GameStop Impulse just prior to its street date.

On GOG, and as part of a promotion that covered a range of games from the Square Enix stable, classic (and much-cherished) "Startopia" is top of the pops, challenging players to manage their own complex and oftentimes comic starship and space-station communities.
