The cabinet meeting on Tuesday approved a 2.52 trillion baht draft fiscal budget for 2014, government spokesman Thosaporn Sereerak said.
Next year’s government expenditure budget was up 5.3% from this year, or 100 billion baht, with a total budget deficit of 2.5 billion baht, down from 300 billion baht in 2013.
Government revenue for 2014 is projected at 2.27 trillion baht.
