St. Regis Bangkok will stage its inaugural St. Regis Charity Culinary Gala on Wednesday, Feb 27, in the hotel's Astor Ballroom. All proceeds from the evening will go to HM Queen Sirikit's Support Foundation.

The charity culinary gala follows the St. Regis brand's advocation of philanthropy, a legacy that dates back to when the Astors, founders of the St. Regis New York, would celebrate the spirit of the holiday season by engaging their friends and guests to join them in benevolence through charitable gala events.
In Bangkok, lavish decor and an elegant setting will create the scene in the Astor Ballroom as guests will be treated to a gourmet extravaganza prepared by St. Regis chefs _ Lau To Ming from St. Regis Beijing, Bobby Saravanan Krishnan from St. Regis Singapore, I Made Putra from The Laguna Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, Bali, Roudy Peterson from St. Regis Doha, and Bastian Mantey and Paritat Phalee from St. Regis Bangkok.
The highlight of the evening will be a charity auction where guests will be able to bid for a variety of exclusive items with a minimum value of 1 million baht _ from fine-crafted jewellery and one-off art pieces to a luxury holiday.
This white-tie event is priced at 500,000 baht per couple on the head table, or 200,000 baht per table of 10. All proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will go to the Support Foundation.
