Tourists from the Khao San and Bang Lamphu area are loving the renovated Royal Plaza, or Sanam Luang. Our photographer previously spotted tourists, with shirts off, playing football against the backdrop of the spires of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Now it's time for a spot of sunbathing, luckily with clothes on, and we can expect more as the hot season starts its full assault.
