Bangladeshi president dies

Bangladeshi President Zillur Rahman died at a Singapore hospital on Wednesday aged 83, media reports said.

The president had been undergoing treatment for respiratory problems since March 11 in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, the broadcaster Channel I reported.
