BURI RAM : The Buri Ram Animal Quarantine Station's chief has pleaded with the public to help its shelter take care of more than 700 dogs rescued from smuggling networks.

Paisan Pattanadejkul said the station needs tent covers for its makeshift dog cage, which has no roof.
The covers will protect the animals from the sun and rain, he added.
The station plans a permanent facility which will be funded by the Department of Livestock Development and Soi Dog Foundation. Donors can contact the station or Pa Kham district livestock office to deliver aid, he said.
