Sukhumbhand appoints four deputies

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra has signed an order appointing four deputy governors, reports said.

The four deputy governors are Jumpol Sampaopol, Pol Gen Assawin Kwanmuang, Phussadee Tamthai, and Amorn Kijchawengkul.

Mr Jumpol resigned as deputy city clerk to take the new post.

Pol Gen Assawin is a former assistant police chief.

Mrs Phussadee is a former Democrat Party list MP. She resigned on Monday.

Mr Amorn is a former executive of Krungthep Thanakhom Co, City Hall's business arm.

MR Sukhumbhand will hold a press conference to introduce his four deputies and his team of advisers tomorrow morning.
