Buriram lose Champions match

China's Jiangsu Sainty comfortably beat Buriram United 2-0 on Tuesday night in the AFC Champions League in Nanjing.

Jiangsu bounced off from bottom to second in Group E while the Thai FA Cup champions dropped to last.

At the Olympic Sports Center in Nanjing, Jiangsu dominated for long periods in the first half, but had to wait until the 41st minute for their opening goal.

Lu Bofei opened the scoring with a long-range drive, which was followed just moments later by Sun Ke's headed goal to give the hosts a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Buriram regrouped in the second half but could not break Jiangsu's defence.
