With a shake of the hip and a rattle of the precisely fitted costume, audiences are set to be entranced tonight when an international belly dance master will perform in Bangkok.
Canadian Hadia will articulate her hips during the ‘Dream Belly Dance’ at Dream Hotel tonight at 9pm.
Held in collaboration with Rumpuree World Dance Studio, the "Dream Belly Dance" event will take place at the Flava Restaurant and Bar of Dream Hotel Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 15, starting at 9pm.
Middle East belly dancing style will be on show, along with the tantalising sounds and groovy performances of artists from Rumpuree.
The highlight will be a performance by Canadian master Hadia, who has more than 40 years experience as a Middle Eastern belly dancing professional.
Hadia has achieved recognition around the world: She won the International Association of Middle Eastern Dance's best choreographer award (2000) and best modern Egyptian dancer award (2003), and a lifetime achievement award (2003). She has also won the Giza Academy Award for Best Instructional Videos (1999).
The night will also include a performance by Dajim Rap Thai featuring Bollywood rapper Heaven Khalifa.
