Shutterbugs should get their gear out and focus on the "Siam Center Photo Contest 2013", which is offering cash prizes worth 200,000 baht in total.
Entries for the ‘Siam Center Photo Contest 2013’ are open until April 30.
The contest is held in collaboration with the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand under royal patronage, Canon Thailand and Tripetch Isuzu Sale.
Each contestant is required to submit a photo of the newly renovated Siam Center's interior or exterior, under the concept of "Inside with My Inner". They can use either a film or digital camera and the photo must portray an overall picture of Siam Center, not focusing on any shop or window display in particular. The 4x6 inch photo must have a resolution of more than 5 million pixels and come with a brief caption.
Although those who prefer film are welcome to enter, the entry must be submitted alongside a CD that contains a digital file in high resolution (more than 300dpi) in JPG, TIF or PSD format. A contestant can submit no more than four entries, and the images must be taken between March 15 and April 30. Entries should be submitted in person or by post to the Marketing Promotion Department of Supremo, 989, 20th floor of Siam Tower, Rama I Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330 by April 30.
Forty successful candidates from the first round will join a workshop conducted by professional photographers on May 5.
