Investigators later found out that one of the bikes belonged to a local 16-year-old boy. The youth was later arrested, along with eight other suspects, including a girl.
The two motorcycles seen in the footage were confiscated, along with six rocks.
The 16-year-old admitted to police that he and his friends did throw rocks at random cars. He said he was the group's leader.
They had hurled stones at cars and homes on at least 13 occasions, the teenager confessed.
"We had nothing to do during school holidays so we gathered together and went out to throw rocks at various things as a prank, and we recorded what we did to show off online," the boy said.
He said they had no intention to hurt anyone.
