Four police and two civilians were injured by a bomb explosion on the Ban Niang-Yaha road in tambon Niang of Yala’s Muang district on Thursday morning, police said.
The victims were taken to Yala hospital.
They are Pol Lt Sompop Petchmanee, Pol Sub Lt Worawit Chankaew, Pol Sub Lt Montri Wichitvetchakarn, Pol Capt Ritiwan Sinthisakul, Sawudee Lateh and Fariya Koh-aree.
Police blamed separatist militants.
