A Muslim man was found dead in a hut on a rubber plantation in Yaha district of Yala on Monday morning, police said.
Police said the man, identified later as Muktar Enae, 51, of Ban Lito in tambon Baro, died of a gunshot wound.
It is believed he was shot last night.
Police were investigating.
