Mild earthquake centred in Myanmar

A mild earthquake measured at 3.2 on the Richter scale has occurred in Myanmar, about 37 kilometres north of the border district of Mae Sai in Chiang Rai province.

Capt Somsak Khaosuwan, director of the National Disaster Warning Centre, said the quake occurred about 11.57am.

There were no reports of damage in Thailand, he said.
