Netizens complain about traffic

Lat Phrao intersection is infamous for its almost impenetrable traffic during rush hours, and a Facebook user on Monday uploaded a photo showing just what makes the congestion even worse.

An image of a traffic jam on Phahon Yothin road in Bangkok, which was uploaded to Facebook by a disgruntled member of the public.

The photo of public buses blocking six lanes of traffic on outbound Phahon Yothin road in Bangkok, near the Mor Chit skytrain station, heading to Lat Phrao intersection, has been widely shared on Facebook and Thai webboards and received many comments and suggestions from internet users.

Here are some of the comments:

"There's heavy traffic all day long, and the weekends are no exception."

"We all know that public bus drivers here drive with good manners."

"I once got stuck in traffic there for 40 minutes!"

"There should be one designated lane for buses."

"Try riding bicycles."

"Does the Bangkok governor know about the traffic problem?"

"Blame the taxis and passenger vans too, not just buses."
