Most people disagree with having a snap election before the end of this year as predicted by Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Suan Dusit Poll says.
Asked to comment on Mr Abhisit's prediction, most, or 44.80%, of the respondents said they disagreed with it, reasoning it would be a waste of national funds and could lead to political unrest while 35.05% had no comment, saying they were still uncertain about the political situation, and 21.15% agreed with an early poll on the grounds that it could change the country for the better.
The poll was conducted on 1,316 people throughout the country between May 15 and 18.
