House passes 2014 Budget Bill

The House of Representatives on Friday afternoon voted 292 to 155, with 27 abstentions and four no votes, to pass the first reading of the Yingluck Shinawatra government’s 2014 fiscal Budget Bill.

A total of 478 MPs attended the meeting on Friday.

The 2014 budget approval came after both government and opposition MPs had spoken for and against the budget bill since the debate began on Wednesday morning.
