Buriram United yesterday moved to the top of the Thai Premier League after defeating Ratchaburi 2-1 at the I-Mobile Stadium.

Buriram's Osmar Ibanez had a chance in the 24th minute but he headed over the bar and Carmelo Gonzalez shot wide two minutes later. Buriram finally opened the scoring in the second half when Jirawat Makkrarom fired in a free-kick and Ratchaburi's Douglas Gardozo conceded an own-goal when trying to clear the ball off his line.
Ratchaburi equalised three minutes later, though, Douglas heading home to tie the scores. But Buriram were not to be denied and Carmelo Gonzalez scored from long range in the 66th minute to ensure victory for the hosts.
At SCG Stadium, Muang Thong United were held to 1-1 draw against Osotspa, meaning they have dropped to second place.
Pak Nam Chol scored for Muang Thong in the 16th minute before Osotspa's Chananan Pombupha equalised with a long shot in the 33rd minute.
At Tinsulanonda Stadium, Songkhla United claimed three points by defeating Pattaya United 3-1.
At United Stadium, Chonburi won 4-3 against Chiang Rai United.
