A squadron of black butterflies descends on a salt lick in Kang Krachan National Park, Phetchaburi province. The park has lately found itself in the headlines following the deaths of wild elephants, suspected to be killed by poachers, and the sighting of what many believe to be a rare, auspicious white elephant. Kang Krachan is the largest national park in the country, covering an area of nearly 3,000m2. It is probably one of the richest in terms of scenery and natural resources too.
