Standing 304m, the Baiyoke is the tallest building in Thailand, though it ranks far below other skycrapers in Asia, which concentrate in the Middle East, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, with Malaysia thrown into the mix.
The MahaNakorn Building on Sathon will take the crown when completed next year as it will reach 315m.
