338 OIDA Gallery

Pongamorn Building, Rama IV Road Open Wed-Sun, 1-5pm Until Aug 6 Call 090-198-8749

338 OIDA Gallery presents "Trans-structurity", a new project by Thasnai Sethaseree, an emerging artist who was educated in Chicago.

The show reflects the concept of fear through sculptures, installations, two-dimensional images and light-box pieces. By blurring the boundaries between disciplines, the ephemeral nature of this project makes visible the impurity of fear, and turns it into a temporary moment that can be continually changed.

The crucial questions this project raises are centred around the politics of fear and suppression in relation to risks represented and misrepresented by institutional agencies, to our understanding of how realistic the politically fearful climate of paranoia and distrust is.
