This performance might be hard to compute without being there. Jul & Co, a French duo, are multi-instrumentalists and DJs who combine a live laptop feed with keyboards, trumpets, talk-box singing, flutes and drums.
French duo Jul & Co will perform at Bed Supperclub this Friday at 9pm.
Their distinctive style can be heard during a dinner concert at Bed Supperclub on Friday.
Promising a complete journey into sound, the two musicians will transport the audience with their interpretations of rare funk grooves, rock classics, bossa nova anthems and even Isan tracks, all courtesy of Co's sampling machine.
The duo starts with an infectious groove that creeps from the laptop and they gradually add layers of instrumentation, throwing down samples that should be recognisable and reshuffling them into their own compositions.
Co has previously performed with his other outfit, Brahms & Co, a regular duo at Bed Supperclub since 2005.
Brahms & Co have travelled around the world to perform at glamorous events such as Louis Vuitton shop openings or W Hotels gigs.
