Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has submitted an appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court, ssking that it overturn a lower court order that she reinstate Thawil Pliensri as secretary-general of the National Security Council.
The appeal was submitted to the Supreme Administrative Court on Tuesday by prosecutor Jira Pannarai on Ms Yingluck's behalf.
The Central Administrative Court on May 31 ruled that the prime minister's order transferring Mr Thawil to the post of prime minister's adviser was illegal. The court ordered that he be reinstated immediately.
