White masks set July 14 protest

The anti-government V for Thailand group has called on its supporters to gather at Lumpini Park on July 14, a week from Sunday.

Thursday's call came just one day after the group announced the temporary suspension of its activities.

Announced on V for Thailand's Facebook page, the group called for a new gathering at the park's King Rama VI Monument at 3pm on that day.

The Facebook post says the gathering will be for the group's supporters to mark the "second anniversary of the Yingluck administration, which is controlled by her elder brother Thaksin Shinawatra".

The group, better known as the white masks, said on its Facebook page on Wednesday that it would take a break from anti-government activities in Bangkok. The group had earlier pledged to review its position before renewing its activities.
