Manchester United arrived in Bangkok on schedule this morning and new manager David Moyes and new player-coach Ryan Giggs were taken immediately to Sirirat Hospital where they left get-well messages for Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Manchester United arrives on schedule
The Manchester United football team arrived on schedule and within hours new manager David Moyes and new player-coach Ryan Giggs were taken to Sirirat Hospital where they left get-well messages for Their Majesties the King and Queen.
The players themselves will make public appearances a bit later. One top star will be missing, however. Robin van Persie, who played for the Netherlands in a post-season trip to Indonesia and China, will meet up with the team in Sydney next week. Japan's Shinji Kagawa will also miss the match in Bangkok.

This afternoon the team is holding a football clinicat Singha Football Park at Muang Thong Thani. The Red Devils will conductseveral football clinics during their stay in Thailand.
Seventeen Man Utd players are expected to compete in the friendly match on Saturday - Anders Lindegaard, Ben Amos, Rafael da Silva, Patrice Evra, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Michael Keane, Alexander Büttner, Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard, Adnan Januzaj, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Wilfried Zaha, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney.

David Moyes has replaced Sir Aliex Ferguson as Manchester United manager.
English Premier League champions Manchester United will touch downin Bangkok Thursday before their pre-season friendly against Thailand's Singha All-Star team on Saturday.
The match at Rajamangala National Stadium will be a part of the 80th anniversarycelebrationof Singha Corporation, the club's globalpartner.
United will arrive in Bangkok with their new manager, David Moyes, who replaced Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of last season.
The team will arrive at Don Mueang airport at 8:30am with star players like Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Nemanya Vidic and Ryan Giggs, who joined the club's coaching staff at the weekend.
Upon their arrival, the team will go to Siriraj hospital to sign the get-well book for Their Majesties the King and the Queen.
In the afternoon, United players will conducta football clinic– the 'Manchester United Soccer School' – at Singha Football Park ground at Muang Thong Thani. Moyes will then lead the players out for a training sessionat 4pm.
On Friday, the players will begin training at 9:30am and some of them will conductanother football clinicat Singha Football Park. The team will train at the Rajamangala National Stadium in the evening. The sessionwill be open for fans to attend.
On match day, there will be activities arranged by Singha Corporation, starting at 3pm. The gate will open at 5pm and the match will kick off at 8pm with a livetelecaston Channel 9.
