The latest work from emerging Thai artist Kamol Tamseewan, who explores the intricate nature of the human mind and how it is affected by elements in modern-day surroundings, go on show at Koi Art Gallery this week.

Labyrinth OfMyMind will be on display at Koi Art Gallery from Friday to Sept 15. The gallery is on Sukhumvit Soi 31 and opens daily from11am to 7pm. Call 02-662-3218.

In the solo exhibition "Labyrinth Of My Mind", Kamol embarks on a journey of questions and discoveries, navigating his way around the mysterious and complex working of his own mind. He tries to convey his emotions, thoughts, and physical and spiritual experiences through a unique brush technique and the fragmented lines in the works.

His abstract technique gives viewers the opportunity to interpret his works and form their own opinions about them. Although his works deal with complex subject matters, his technique turns away from overwhelming visual stimulants and instead conveys emotions through vigorous and fluid movement.

The artist infuses his emotions in broken lines _ highlighting quiet moments, failures, happiness, regrets, anger, incontrollable nature, resentment and everything in the middle that comes with being human.
