Spanish champions Barcelona arrive
After greeting English Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, Thai fans turned out in large numbers at Don Mueang airport yesterday to welcome Spanish champions Barcelona.
The Spanish team, led by superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar, have promised to field a sideclose to their best when they take on Thailand in a friendly at Rajamangala National Stadium tomorrow.

"We are really impressedby the welcome at the airport," Andres Iniesta said at their press conference
"I would like to say that we will play our best football for Thai fans."
Gerard Pique, the other Barcelona player at the press conferenceheld at the Okura Prestige hotel, also promised the team would play their best football to please Thai fans.
Pique said he was impressedby the support in Thailand.
"We are very pleased to see many supporters greet us at the airport," Pique explained.
Thai fans greet the Spanish champions.
"We will try to learn Thai culture although we are staying here for just a few days.
"I know that Thai food is very spicybut I would like to test some noodles."
The two Barcelona stars also had some news for the assembledmedia.
First, new signingNeymar is under doctor's care for signs of anemia but the problem does not appear to be serious, Iniesta said.
"Neymar can train with the team and the doctor is looking after him carefully."
Secondly, Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is unlikely to go to Manchester United, according to Pique, a close friend.
"He wants to stay in Barcelona because it's always been his dream [to play for Barca]," said Pique, himself a former United player.
