Majesties’ health much improved

The health of Their Majesties the King and Queen has improved steadily since they moved to Klai Kangwon Palace in the seaside town of Hua Hin to recuperate.

His Majesty enjoys spending time every day at the beachfront pavilion on the grounds, and the yacht dock brings him a lot of pleasure, said Dr Udom Kachintorn, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Siriraj Hospital at Mahidol University.

The Queen has been getting exercise on the grounds every evening and she can now walk very well. As well, her earlier wrist and shoulder pain has almost disappeared, Dr Udom added.

He said Their Majesties' mental outlook had also improved significantly because they were now staying at their favourite residence.

Their Majesties moved to Klai Kangwon on Aug 2 from Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok.
