The Krabi event, the eighth and final leg of this year's series, will be held on Hong island. The competition will feature at least 14 of the world's best high divers who have confirmed their participation.

Among them are reigning world champion Gary Hunt of England and 10-time world champion Orlando Duque of Colombia.

They will jump 27m from the pristine limestone cliffs as the Krabi tournament could determine the 2013 overall champion.

In its fifth season, the 2013 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series began in La Rochelle, France in May.

The latest event, the fifth leg of the season, was held in Boston last month and won by Duque. The next stop will be Wales on Sept 14, followed by the seventh tournament in Rio de Janeiro on Sept 29.
