People's Gallery presents "Color Communication", a painting exhibition by German artist Philip Marc Adomat who brings together many influences in a new and dynamic way.

On show are 35 canvas paintings of varying styles, which he says allows him to communicate his ideas in the way that is most natural to what he believes language is.
The exhibition is absorption of Thai culture and street art style with an abstract expressionism base. Use of colours, street art techniques and influences from abstract expressionism and pop art make his paintings look denser and more multi-dimensional.
The artist is fascinated with art that is made without thinking on purpose and guided by one's subconscious. "This allows me to combine the techniques of street art and contemporary aesthetics in a fluid way," said Philip.
It is this subconscious aspect of his work that allows it to be more natural and full of hidden imagery. "The more you look at my artwork, the more things you will see inside it," he said.

opens today and will run until Oct 11 at People’s Gallery, 2nd
floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan intersection.
