Pa tong go _ deep-fried Chinese doughnuts _ have been keeping hungry rubber farmers fuelled up after almost two weeks of protests against falling rubber prices at Ban Toon intersection in Cha-uat district of Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Thousands of protesting growers recently intensified their protest by blocking several roads and highways in the South and in Rayong province after rejecting a government cash deal.
