The rail track to the Northeast was reopened on Monday afternoon after a freight train derailment blocked the line near Sikhiu district in Nakhon Ratchasima province, the State Railway of Thailand announced on Monday.
Freight train No. 535 carrying bulk fuel derailed on Monday morning between Lat Bua Khao and Ban Mai Samrong stations in Sikhiu.
The track was cleared for traffic at 1.30pm, it said.
